TA 152H-1 Green 9 #150 168 of Obfw. Willi Reschke, JG 301 April 1945

On 24 April 1945 over Berlin there was an encounter with Yak 9's. Hptm Hermann Stahl and his Ta 152 was lost. Four Yaks were shot down,
two by Obfw. Willi Reschke and two by Obfw. Walter Loos (Green 4). The disarray in command of the last days of the war makes it impossible to date
the last mission with certainty, but it was probably on 30 April 1945. On that day Walter Loos shot down another Yak 9. The Ta 152's had shot down
at least 10 enemy fighter for the loss of just two of their own. The last transfer of the Stabsschwarm was to Leck in Schleswig-Holstien.
All remaining Ta 152's were handed over to the British. While other Ta 152's were scrapped. "Green 9" (WNr 150 168) was spared
and flown to England in the belly of an Ar 232.
This Ta 152 was last flown by Obfw. Willi Reschke. The Ta 152H-1, now designated Air Min 11, was tested by the famous Eric Brown during a
flight from Farmborough to Brize Norton. Curiously, the British experts did not succeed in evaluating
the tA 152 H-1's performance with the GM 1 and MW50 injection. They were satisfied with what they had,
consequently there were no no performance comparisons with Allied fighter aircraft. The TA 152 H-1 #150 168 was scrapped in 1946.

This is my interpretation of the information from "Focke- Wulf Ta 152" by Dietmar Harmann (quoted above) which has the B&W pictures of 168 in
British markings and a Japanesse book "Focke-Wulf Fw190D & Ta152 No. 336 which have a line drawing of the top view of 168. There was a note
on the color RLM 82 that it could be RLM 75 instead.
So I made two versions one with the RLM 75/82/83 and one with 81/82/83.

Thanks to Mike 1 for the fine work on the templates and extra work to get these done. Also to DeanH for his help.
